Cycling 500 miles for RSD!
HUGE thanks from everyone at RSD to Mollie and Phil Courtney, who both recently retired from the NHS and will soon be joining us as RAMP volunteers. A couple of weeks ago, together with their friends Fiona and Barry, they cycled 500 miles round France in three days to raise funds, with RSD one of the nominated charities. Mollie says, ‘the challenge was fun but also tough at times with some serious climbs, day 2 was glorious but we started day 3 in driving rain. We travelled through some beautiful countryside and we are all much fitter now. Thank you to everyone who supported us for your sponsorship, we are committed to supporting Refugee Support Devon.’ So far Mollie and Phil have raised over £1700, half of which will be donated to RSD. Donations can still be made here, it will be fantastic if we can help them break the £2,000 barrier. In the meantime:
Thank you once again, Mollie and Phil, from everyone at RSD!
