Hear from Ali and Lila about what 'Courage' means to them ahead of Refugee Week
As we approach Refugee Week (15–21 June), Ali and Lila share what this year's theme, "Courage", means to them.
Both Ali and Lila were supported by Refugee Support Devon when they first arrived in Devon. Today, they are giving back to their community by volunteering to support newly arrived refugees and people seeking asylum.
Ali, originally from Sudan, and Lila, from Nicaragua, are also valued members of Refugee Support Devon's Lived Experience Advisory Panel, helping to shape and strengthen the organisation's work through their insight and experience.
