More than 150 lawyers and refugee NGOs report being ‘pressured into silence’ by far-right protesters | The Guardian
We are proud to stand alongside more than 150 lawyers and refugee NGOs - including Freedom from Torture, Choose Love, and Care4Calais - in signing a joint statement of solidarity against mounting threats from far-right protestors.
In recent weeks, several NGOs have been forced to close their offices due to safety concerns. No organisation supporting refugees and people seeking safety should be subjected to such hostility, nor prevented from carrying out their vital work with the communities they serve.
Our joint statement was featured in The Guardian last week.
