Remember Betsy Salt? Our amazing fundraising swimmer...
Eight-year old Betsy stole everyone’s heart when she raised over £3,000 for RSD with her Swimming Challenge back in February.
We’re now delighted to learn that Betsy has been short-listed for a BBC ‘Make A Difference’ award, the results will be announced at a ceremony in September and we will, of course, let everyone know how she gets on as soon as we can.
In the meantime: Betsy recently appeared on BBC Radio Devon’s Breakfast Show with David Sheppard, you can hear her by clicking here and scrolling forward to 1 hour, 26 minutes and 54 seconds.
Good luck Betsy, from everyone at RSD!
