We've partnered with Trauma Foundation South West to deliver free, trauma-informed training across Devon

Collaboration and community are at the heart of everything we do...

We’re so proud to shout about how successful our partnership with Trauma Foundation South West has been through the Devon Training and Support programme!

In partnership with Refugee Support Devon, the Trauma Foundation South West team have delivered free, trauma-informed training and therapeutic supervision to organisations and professionals supporting refugees and people seeking asylum across Devon.

This fully funded programme by NHS Devon is helping equip frontline teams with essential tools, understanding and resilience to better support people whose lives have been turned upside down by war, persecution and displacement. Through workshops, trauma awareness sessions, and supervision opportunities, we’re strengthening support networks across our community.

A huge thank you to all the participants, partners and funders who’ve made this possible. We're super proud of this collaboration - and it’s helping make Devon a more welcoming, informed and compassionate place for refugees and asylum seekers.

We are always learning more about how we can best deliver our services in a trauma-informed way, ensuring the people we support feel safe, understood and empowered.

Let’s keep learning, growing and supporting each other.

The programme is running until June 2026. Find out more: https://www.tfsw.co.uk/devon-training-and-support
