This is what community looks like.
Today in the Refugee Support Devon office, we had a lovely surprise.
One of our clients, who has been supported by volunteers since arriving in Devon, came in to celebrate their birthday with us in the Refugee Support Devon office - and they surprised us with a cake decorated with our logo!
It was a simple but really special moment, shared with volunteers who have supported them along the way. There was plenty of laughter, cake, and time to come together and celebrate.
Moments like this are a great reminder of what community is all about - people getting to know each other, sharing milestones, and enjoying positive moments together.
A big thank you to our client for the thoughtful cake and for sharing your celebrations with us.
