Volunteer Community Dinner - thanking the people who make it all possible!

We ended January coming together to say a big THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers who generously give their time to support asylum seekers and refugees in Devon.

We simply couldn’t do what we do without them.

After a busy and challenging start to the year, particularly for our clients who are people seeking safety, it was lovely to spend an evening together - getting to know one another better, taking a well-earned night off, and enjoying delicious food cooked by the team, featuring plenty of leeks and other veg grown just down the road by volunteers and clients at our community garden.

We finished the night with a Refugee Support Devon quiz - competitive spirits very much alive!

These volunteers are our community heroes.

Thanks to our friends at St Sidwells Community Centre for letting us take over your kitchen for the evening!
